The Monsoon season is just around the corner. This means that there will be more humidity in the air and more chances of frizzy hair.

But why do we get frizzy hair in monsoon season? The reason behind it is very simple – our hair follicles are open now. Any sheath does not protect them. So when we get wet, our hair gets frizzy because they become exposed to water easily.

We know that the climate changes during Monsoons, and so do our hairstyles. And that means we must change our hairstyles every time it rains or becomes warm. This is where you should invest in a good hair dryer that will help you dry your hair quickly without damaging it too much.

Frizzy hair can happen to anyone, anytime, and for any reason. It could be due to the weather, stress, poor nutrition, or anything else that causes your hair to become frizzy.

Bad hair can be a real bane for women. It’s not just that their hair looks terrible; it also causes them a lot of frustration.

What Causes Hair to Become Frizzy

The causes of frizzy hair are many. The most common cause of frizzy hair is genetics. If your parents or grandparents had frizzy hair, you would likely develop the same condition.

Another common cause of frizzy hair is dryness. This can be caused by using the wrong products on your hair or not using enough conditioner.

It can also be caused by heat damage or over-processing of your hair.

The reason behind frizzy hairs is the humidity level in the air. When your hair is wet and you go out in the morning, it gets a lot of humidity from the air. This humid condition will make your hair dry and frizzy by evening.

Tips to Prevent Frizzy Hair

The best way to get rid of frizzy hair is to avoid it in the first place. Here are some things to avoid that can help you reduce frizz:

– Don’t pull or tug your hair. This can cause breakage and split ends, which lead to dryness and frizz.

– Don’t use too many products on your hair, especially products containing alcohol. Alcohol dries out your hair, causing it to be more prone to frizz.

– Don’t blow dry your hair too often. Blow-drying strips moisture from your hair, causing it to be more prone to frizzing up than usual.

Don’t brush your hair when wet because this will damage it even more than normal. Instead, use a wide tooth comb to detangle it and let it air dry before brushing again.

– Use a wide-tooth comb when brushing your hair instead of a wide-tooth comb with a plastic handle, as this will reduce breakage and split ends, making your hair healthier and less prone to frizzing up if you style it properly.

How to Get Rid of Frizzy Hair

We all have frizzy hair in Monsoon or any other season. But here are some tips to get rid of frizzy hair in the Monsoon.

1. Oiling:

It is always better to use a hot oil treatment for frizzy hair before applying any conditioner. This treatment helps in smoothing out your hair and makes them soft and shiny at the same time. If your scalp is oily, try using natural oils like coconut oil on your scalp.

Apply oil on your scalp daily to keep it moisturized and healthy while traveling or outdoors during the Monsoon season. You can either use vegetable oil or petroleum jelly for this purpose, but make sure that it is not too greasy so that it does not weigh down your hair or make them look oily instead of soft and bouncy!

Use a deep conditioning treatment once a week. This will help lock in moisture while fighting against breakage and damage.

2. Washing your Hair properly:

Wash your hair with mild shampoo and conditioner. Do not use harsh chemicals on the scalp, as this will damage your hair and scalp. Washing your hair can be the best home remedy for dandruff.

Use more quality products on your hair, such as quality conditioners and good leave-in conditioners that nourish your strands, instead of stripping them of their natural oils like cheap shampoos do (like the ones from drug stores). Also, pay attention to what type of shampoo you use on your scalp (some shampoos strip away oil, leaving strands brittle and prone to breakage).

If you are prone to dryness in the winter, use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners instead of regular ones with lots of alcohol in them. These ingredients can dry out your hair and make it more prone to frizziness during cold weather.

Avoid products containing sulfates, which can dry out your hair and cause frizziness.

Get rid of excess product build-up by washing your hair with an anti-static shampoo as soon as possible after applying any styling product (mousse or gel).

3. Use Good Conditioner

If you have frizzy hair, the best way to get rid of it is with a good conditioner. There are many types of conditioners and shampoos available in the market. But only a few of them can give you desired results.

You need to apply these conditioners per your hair type and length. If you have long hair, apply the conditioner from root to tip. If you have medium-length hairs, apply the conditioner from mid-shafts to ends.

After applying the conditioner, it’s important to leave it in your hair for a few minutes to allow it to fully penetrate and nourish your hair. You can also use a wide-tooth comb to gently detangle your hair while the conditioner is still in it, which can help to prevent breakage and further damage.

Rinsing your hair thoroughly after conditioning is also important, as any leftover product can weigh down your hair and make it look greasy or flat. Take your time to rinse your hair with cool water until the water runs clear, and gently squeeze out any excess water before styling as desired.

4. Use a microfiber towel to dry hair

After washing, dry your hair with a microfiber towel. Microfiber towels are made of a material that is highly absorbent so that they can soak up a lot of water. This makes them ideal for use on wet hair. They’re also lightweight and compact, so they’re easy to carry with you on the go. Ensure that you do not expose your head to direct sunlight after drying so that you do not damage your hair further.

Use a leave-in conditioner or spray-on hair serum to stay moisturized throughout the day after washing your hair.

Try using a serum on wet hair before blow-drying it dry to give it more shine and body.
